Communiclock radio controlled talking calendar clock

Exclusive to RNIB, this talking clock announces the time and date in a clear, high quality natural male English voice. The design of the clock has evolved from our previous best-selling Talking cube clocks, with a large button on the top, clear setting buttons, good colour contrast in black and pearl white and a new improved curved casing.

· radio control feature sets the time and date automatically when a radio signal is received, no more having to set the time manually when the clocks change

· press the large black button on the top, once to hear the time, or press and hold to hear the time and date (spoken as date, month, year and day)

· the large speaker grill on the front of the clock provides optimum sound quality

· you can adjust the volume by using the rotary volume control on the front of the clock

· features five alarm sounds and an optional hourly announcement, that, once activated, announces the time on the hour every hour

· the square mode and round set buttons are discreetly positioned on the base of the clock

· alarm sounds for one minute and then self cancels. The alarm can be switched off any time during this minute by pressing the large button on top of the clock

· time and date (up to 2099) can be set manually. This is essential for use outside the UK

Radio controlled talking clock

Silver coloured talking clock that sets the time and date automatically from radio signals and also shows the time on a large digital display (LCD).

· announces the time, date and alarm time in a pleasant English female voice

· digital display shows the time, date and alarm time

· hour and minute numbers are 2.5cm (1 inch) high. Other digits on the digital display are 1cm (0.4 inches) high

· all setting functions are spoken

· time and date can be set manually if preferred. This is essential for use outside the UK

· features optional snooze alarm and hourly report, that, once activated, announces the time on the hour every hour

This clock announces the time, date and day in an English male voice, and offers a choice of alarms and settings.

· choice of announcements: "2.28pm" or "almost half past two"

· features 11 different alarm sounds

· automatic adjustment for British summertime. Programmed for summer/winter adjustment until 2011. This automatic feature can be turned off if changes are made to British Summer Time
